A GREAT GOOD PLACE FOR BOOKS    7:00 PM
5701 Thornhill Drive Montclair Presbyterian Church Oakland, CA 94611

Sorry I didn't notice this earlier to send out the info ... KQED had a program on 'Superheroes: A Never Ending Battle' that I just watched.  Michael Chabon was one of the 'talking heads' -- comics were referred to in 'Telegraph Ave" and were a main focus in the author's "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay"

Superheroes: a Never=Ending Battle
Part 1 -Truth, Justice and the American Way (1938-1958)
Part 2 - Great Pwer, Great Responsibility (1959 - 1977)
Part 3 - A Hero Can Be Anyone (1978-present)

It will probably be shown again, although possibly not all 3 parts together.... check KQED's website
